Oh Christmas Tree

We put up our Christmas tree over the weekend. I LOVE having the tree up. I could look at it for hours. Funny how we have the Christmas tree up and door wide open to feel the breeze. Almost an oxymoron. Also, the fact that I put the tree up wearing shorts and flip flops. Only in AZ.

Thanksgiving 2011

What a Happy Thanksgiving we had. It was so much fun cooking the dinner in the new kitchen. My mom, Andy's sister Ana, her boyfriend Buddy, baby Justin, and Andy's brother Albert were all over for food and fun.
I forgot to take a picture of the spread before we all dug in, but I got bits and pieces and some aftermath pictures.

We played "bags" after dinner out back with some homemade beanbags and board. Cheap and fun HA HA

Then there's the cleaning up...

Skate Park

Andy took Tony and Andrew to the skate park the other day. They all had tons of fun and came home with some bruises. At least, Andy did :)

Amos Family Reunion 2011

The semi-annual Amos Family Reunion was yesterday at McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park. We had a great time visiting. The boys had a great time riding the train and having ice cream w/ Papa and Gigi.

Busy As Usual

It's been one crazy week. Monday morning, I rolled my ankle pretty bad at the gas station. To make a long story short, I went to the ER, xray found no breaks, but too swollen to tell. Had a repeat xray on Friday to find out for sure. My ankle is getting better everyday and I'm gaining more movement in it so I doubt it's broken or will require anything more than rest. THANKFULLY!!
Everyone has been super helpful. Mylo was especially concerned.

ps. Crutches are the work of the devil. Just sayin!

Did you notice Mylo's festive get-up? The kids are learning about Indians this week at preschool and they made a feather skirt and headdress. Maxton refused to wear his, but Mylo was all about it.

Love it! So happy the holidays are coming!

Busy Bunkers

Today was BUSY! Andy, Mylo, Max and I drove out to Casa Grande this morning to pick up Tony and Andrew from their Nana's house. It rained on and off the whole way and I wore sweat pants. It was lovely. Mylo wants to be radio commander in the car and is thoroughly annoyed when Max decides he wants to lead a rousing rendition of "Five Little Monkeys".

We wandered around Fry's Marketplace where I found a Thanksgiving apron on CLEARANCE. FOUR BUCKS!!! I was pleased with my find to say the least. Stay tuned for pics in the Thanksgiving post.
When we got home, we finished putting together Mylo and Maxton's new bunk beds. Found them on Craig's list BRAND NEW! Awesome. My mom decided to buy both sets of boys bunk beds for Christmas! The boys have SO much more room to play. LOVE IT...THANK YOU, NANA!!
