Kids Night

Last night, my awesome boss and her husband hosted our team at their home for Kids Night. There were pony rides, hot dogs, a bonfire, and lots of room to run. It was the first time the boys have been on a horse and they lived every minute.
Thank you, DeAnna and Milan!

Shamrock Farms

A couple weeks ago, we took a tour of Shamrock Farms out near Casa Grande. We had so much fun seeing all the cows and learning how milk is bottled and transported. After the tour we got to have hot dogs and ice cream in the barn!

In the Barn before the tour.

Shamrock history

Mylo always has the funniest faces.

Checkin out all the Shamrock goods

There were lots of fun stops along the way with fun facts to learn.

One stop was a nice little playground right in the middle of the farm.

Hoses hooked up to some fake cows to simulate the "suckers"

Checking out the milking process.

Those two bars are two different temperatures. One is how the milk feels when it comes out of the cow and the other is how cold they can get it within six minutes of milking. Pretty cool.

The "nursery"!!

Feeding the babies!

Lunchtime in the barn

Roxie's (the Shamrock Farms cow) house

They gave out free bottles of milk. I picked this one. OMG...so good.

We had a very good parent/teacher conference with Mylo's teacher, Ms. Trotter tonight. Mylo is excelling in every subject and is reading above grade level! So proud of my little, big guy!
